Chuck Todd

Charles David Chuck Todd is an American television journalist who is the 12th moderator of Meet the Press, and host of Meet the Press Daily on MSNBC. He also serves as the Political Director for NBC News. Prior to taking the helm of Meet the Press, Todd was Chief White House correspondent for the network and host of The Daily Rundown on MSNBC. He became political director in March 2007. He also serves as NBC News onair political analyst for NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt and Today.

Todd was born on April 8, 1972, in Miami, Florida, the son of Lois Cheri and Stephen Randolph Todd. He is Jewish on his mothers side, and was raised Jewish. He graduated from Miami Killian Senior High School in the Kendall neighborhood of greater Miami. Todd attended George Washington University from 1990 to 1994. Although he majored in political science and minored in music, he did not graduate.
